The main chemical components of EN-GJS-700-2 Ductile Cast Iron include carbon (C), silicon (Si), manganese (Mn), sulfur (S), phosphorus (P), magnesium (Mg) and rare earth elements (RE). The chemical composition range is as follows:
- Carbon (C): 3.4%~3.85%
- Silicon (Si): 2.3%~3.1%
- Manganese (Mn): 0.1-0.3%
- Sulfur (S): < 0.02%
- Phosphorus (P): < 0.1%
- Magnesium (Mg): 0.02%~0.04%
- Rare earth content (RE): 0.03%~0.05%

Characteristics and applications: It is a pearlite type ductile iron with high strength, good wear resistance, high fatigue limit, and certain plasticity and toughness. It is suitable for making parts with high strength requirements, such as crankshafts of diesel and gasoline engines, cams, cylinder liners, intake and exhaust valve seats, and connecting rods of gasoline engines; pedal thresher racks and light-load gears for agricultural machinery; spindles for machine tools; crankshafts, cylinder blocks, cylinder liners, ball mill gear shafts, mine wheels, bridge crane large and small car rollers, and spindles for small turbines of air compressors, refrigerators, and oxygen generators. The production method and chemical composition of ductile iron are determined by the supplier, and the chemical composition of ductile iron is not used as the basis for casting acceptance.
